“OUR WINES ARE WINES OF THE SUN, BUT ALSO OF THE SOIL."
Sebastián Zuccardi grew up in a family with a strong visionary and innovative spirit. Since his grandfather, the engineer Alberto Zuccardi, planted the first hectares of vines in Maipú, Mendoza, in 1963, the Zuccardi Family has not stopped growing and developing to position itself as an important benchmark in Argentine viticulture.
From his father, José Alberto Zuccardi, Sebastián inherited determination and the desire for the permanent search for excellence.
Today Sebastián, the third generation of the family, is working at the head of a young agricultural and winemaking team, in charge of producing wines with the highest quality standards in the Uco Valley.
At his initiative, since 2008 the winery has had a Research and Development area dedicated to the study of the terroir and the various variables that affect the quality of the wine. The goal is, in the words of Sebastián himself, “not to look for perfect wines, but rather those that express the place, the region”.
