The Domaine de la Motte is also the story of the Michaut family.
Since 1960, 3 generations of winegrowers have successfully succeeded in producing these Chablis wines which express the magnificent symbiosis of the terroirs – Kimmeridgian and Portlandian – and the Chardonnay grape variety.
Today, Adrien Michaut is at the helm of the estate, which now has 53 hectares of vines.
He works with rigor and passion, and is in perpetual research to awaken the senses and make wines that express the spirit of the Estate: pure, dynamic and authentic.
