The Berthenets have been growing grapes at Montagny Les Buxy, in the heart of the Chalonnais, for over 400 years but only over the last ten or so years have François Berthenet and his father Jean-Pierre started bottling their wines themselves. They vinify the majority of the wines in stainless steel to preserve the maximum of freshness in their fruit.
