Casa de Vila Nova positions itself in the Vinho Verde market as the producer Bernardo Lencastre who combines the tradition and experience of the founders with the vivacity and innovation of a new generation.
Its mission is to offer the market young, fresh and quality green wines, allowing its customers to provide a differentiating offer to the consumer.
In the family since the 12th century, Casa de Vila Nova expanded and grew until the 20th century from its legendary Tower, in blocks, successively built and recovered.
In the 70s and 80s, Luís Lencastre started out as a producer of vinho verde. In 1986, the total conversion of the vineyards began, equipment was acquired and agricultural resources were developed. In 1993, to enhance the wine component and some real estate businesses, Sociedade Agrícola e Imobiliária da Casa de Vila Nova, Lda, the current name of the company, was created
Casa de Vila Nova − farm and company − remain in the family to this day, with the current partners being the brothers Bernardo, Luísa, Sofia and Filipe.
